Music for Tots with Charlotte Thistle

Service Description

In this fun, active movement and music class, participants sing, dance, bounce, play instruments and make friends! Our curriculum includes songs from around the world in a variety of languages. Supportive educational materials are available, including instructional YouTube videos, digital music streaming and downloadable .pdfs. For kids from birth through age 5, with one parent or guardian. Participants should wear comfortable clothes that allow them to move around. Affectionately called “Miss Charlotte” by many of her young students, Charlotte Thistle has a BA in music and over 20 years experience teaching music to children. She has also recorded two CDs of original folk music, and in 2016 released a CD of children’s music entitled “A Spoonful of Songs” which received a Parents’ Choice Silver award. More recently, she and her daughter collaborated on two musical puppet shows which were performed at the Oregon Country Fair. Please Note the Following: -Registration is per child. An adult caregiver must be present and engaged with the child(ren) during the class. -This is a 8 week session. -PILEA is a shoes-free space and socks are strongly encouraged. For younger children, you may want grippy socks. -Please leave your stroller at home or in your car as we do not have space for them. -Our entrance is up one steep flight of stairs.

Cancellation Policy

For Birthday Party rentals, we can offer a full refund (minus our transaction fee 2.9%+$0.30) up to 4 weeks before your reservation. We can offer 50% refund up to 3 weeks before your reservation and 25% up to 2 weeks before your reservation.
